BEING A MUSICIAN IN THE 21st. CENTURY
ATOC is a music platform addressing the challenges pop musicians face in the 21st century. It is a modular, scalable infrastructure responding to the tech-driven reshaping of music over the last 20 years—streaming platforms, social media, home studios, and AI—which has made the industry more commodified, predictable, and unequal.
MUSIC RESIDENCIES
The Collective Soundlab Residency at Tricone Studios, Funkhaus Berlin is a music residency program designed to break creative isolation, push artistic boundaries, and highlight the social power of music.
COLLECTIVE SOUNDLAB #1 (2023)
In collaboration with Territorio (Argentina) and with the support of Fundación Besares (Argentina), 15 musicians who had never worked together before gathered at Tricone Studios to co-create new music. Over 2 days, they explored improvisation, songwriting, and collective recording processes that blurred the lines between artist and audience.
Friends were also invited into the studio to take part in the creative flow — turning the session into an open laboratory of sound and connection.
COLLECTIVE SOUNDLAB #2 (2025)
A 5-month program from March to July 2025, aimed at breaking creative isolation, challenging artists’ comfort zones, and highlighting the social power of music. Participants collaborated with other artists, work in advanced studios with both analog and digital tools, and engage in social impact by music to young people from migrant backgrounds through the “Sound Has Memory” program at the Schlesische 27 organization.
LIVE SESSIONS
Juana Aguirre "Violeta"
We met Juana and Cruz during the 2023 Berlin summer. They were touring with their music, looking to build bridges and connections in the city. We were in the midst of developing our new project.
We gathered at Tricone Studios and were immediately captivated by their music.
Very spontaneously, we decided to record this live session at our studio, with Francis behind the console and thanks to Jaime Molleda and Singing River Films, these beautiful images were captured — reflecting the spirit of the moment and the song.
Paula Prieto “Nido”
ATOC Live Sessions bring musicians from diverse backgrounds together at Tricone Studios, Funkhaus Berlin to co-create music. Each session spotlights not only the songs, but the studio environment that makes these connections possible—the conversations, experiments, and moments of exchange that spark something new.
Our first session under this concept featured Paula Prieto (American/Argentinian). She brought an unreleased song into the room and opened it up to collaboration with Fabian Suske and Adar Alfandari. What followed was a live, in-studio performance that captured the spirit of the project.

SOCIAL IMPACT
ATOC explores how music can strengthen communities. Some of our residencies and artistic programs include a social responsibility component, where artists “give back” by sharing their skills and co-creating with local groups. These exchanges foster dialogue, inclusion, and collective creativity—showing how music can transform both artists and communities.
